Our commitment

Round Rock Rubies is committed to making this website usable for people with a wide range of abilities, assistive technologies, and preferences. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, as our standard of care, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a box to check.

What we have done

The site is built with semantic HTML, clear heading structure, keyboard-navigable links and buttons, and alternative text on the images that convey information. Text is set in a readable size with generous contrast against the page. Page layouts reflow on small screens without hiding content or requiring horizontal scrolling. Decorative ornaments are marked so assistive technology can skip past them.

Known limitations

This is a small, handcrafted site, and some things can always be better. A few decorative serif headings use tight letter-spacing for visual rhythm, and some image galleries rely on motion for effect — if any of this creates friction for you, please tell us. Where we rely on third-party embeds (for example, video), the accessibility of those embeds depends partly on the provider.

If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, we would genuinely like to hear about it. Email info@roundrockrubies.com and tell us what you ran into — the page, the device or assistive technology you were using, and what you were trying to do. We will reply within a reasonable time and, where we can, fix the issue directly. If the information you need is trapped behind a page that is not working for you, we are happy to send it to you another way — email, printed letter, or a phone call.
