When you submit the adoption application or contact form, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, household details, and any notes about the home you can offer a puppy. When you visit the site, our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring site.

How we use it

We use the information you share only to correspond with you about Ruby's puppies, evaluate adoption applications, arrange visits or pickup, honor our take-back and health-guarantee commitments, and stay in touch for the life of your dog. Technical site data is used to keep the website working, secure, and improving over time.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade our enquiry list. We do not send unsolicited marketing to applicants we have not heard from in years. This is a small operation, not a mailing list business.

Who we share with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site and communicate with you — for example, our web host, email provider, and (where applicable) a veterinarian or transporter involved in placing your puppy. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the welfare of a dog.

How long we keep it

We retain adoption application and contract records for as long as the dog is living plus a reasonable period afterward, so that we can honor our lifetime take-back promise and health guarantee. Contact-form enquiries are kept only as long as useful and then deleted.

Your rights

You may ask us, at any time, what personal information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or request deletion of information we are no longer required to keep. Email info@roundrockrubies.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, note the change on the site.
